R J Balloon

We are right at Godowlia Chowk in Varanasi, very close to Saint Mary Church. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how narrow the streets are and how many people are always walking by. Our little spot is tucked in there, and we handle all sorts of balloon decorations for people in the area. It’s a lot of work carrying big bundles of balloons through the crowds at Godowlia, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is small and we often have to move things around just to find a place to sit. We don't have a fancy website or a big office. It’s just a place where we keep our supplies and meet with customers who are planning a party. Sometimes the church bells are ringing while we are working, which is a nice sound to have in the background. We’ve been here in Varanasi for some time and we know most of the people on this street. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We’re just local guys who know how to make a place look festive with some balloons. It can get pretty chaotic during the festival seasons, but we just take it one day at a time. If you’re near the Chowk, you’ll probably see us or one of our colorful displays outside the door. We just focus on getting the balloons right for whoever needs them, whether it's for a house or a shop.
