Pacific Vivek Classes

Pacific Vivek Classes is located right on Sigra Road here in Varanasi. Most days, it’s just us and the students dealing with the traffic noise coming from outside. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it works for what we do. We have these rows of benches that have seen better days, and the whiteboards always have some old ink stains that won't come off no matter how hard we scrub. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always running at full speed, making that clicking sound. People walk in from the main road, sometimes asking for directions because Sigra is always so busy. We keep a water cooler in the corner that everyone uses, and the floor gets a bit dusty by the evening because of all the feet coming through. It is a simple place, really. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that. Just some rooms, some books, and a lot of tea being drunk between the hours. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there for a minute until the backup kicks in. It is just the way things go around here on Sigra Road. We’ve been in this 221010 area for a while now, and the neighbors know us. It’s a lot of routine, opening up early, checking the chalk or the markers, and making sure the lights work. It is just a normal part of the neighborhood life.
