Nucleus Classes

We have been here in the 221001 area of Varanasi for a while now. Nucleus Classes is just where local students come to get their work done after their regular school hours. It is not a fancy setup or anything, just some simple rooms with benches and whiteboards. Most of us who work here grew up around these same streets, so we know how the neighborhood is. It gets a bit noisy on the street sometimes with the traffic, but once you are inside the rooms, it is mostly quiet enough to focus. We just look at the books and solve problems. It is funny how fast the time goes by when everyone is busy scribbling in their notebooks. We started very small, just a couple of chairs in a tiny room. Now we have a few more spaces. People find us easily enough because we are quite central in the city. You will usually see a bunch of cycles parked out front in the late afternoon. That is when we are the busiest. We do not have a big reception desk or people wearing suits to greet you. Usually, it is just one of us sitting there with a paper register. We keep things simple. If a student has a doubt, they just ask. There is no complicated process here. We just want to make sure the kids understand what they are reading. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of noise, but we are used to it.
