Working in Orderly Bazar is always interesting. Our office is at S-6/14 and it is right in the middle of all the noise and life of the market. The street is narrow so you are always dodging bikes and people when you step outside. Inside our space we have old wooden cabinets and stacks of files that go back years. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby. Usually one of us is just sitting at a desk and we look up when someone walks in. The walls are a bit dusty because there is always some construction happening nearby. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles when it is on high speed so we usually keep it on low. There is a small shelf with some old trophies from trade fairs we went to a long time ago. They are covered in dust now but they remind us of the early days. We do not have a big mission statement or any corporate talk. We just try to get the orders right and keep our customers happy. If there is a mistake we just fix it without making a big deal. We know the local vendors and we usually get our lunch from the same stall every day. It is a very simple life here. We do not try to look bigger than we are. This small office in the bazar is enough for us to do our business.
