Mangal Carpets

Mangal Carpets is located out in the village of Anirudhpur Paschimpatti. We are in the Chetganj area, and our post comes through Khamaria. It is a rural spot, away from the big city noise, which is how we like it. The air is a bit cleaner here, though the roads can be rough after it rains. We have a small facility where we handle the carpets. It isn't a factory with machines everywhere; it is more of a traditional setup. A lot of the people from the village work with us or stop by to talk. We do not have a website or a big marketing plan. Most of what we do is based on the skills we have learned over the years. The building is simple, made of brick and mortar, with plenty of space for the rugs to be laid out. Sometimes goats wander near the entrance, but that is just life in the village. We focus on the work at hand and do not worry much about being polished or sounding professional. We are just local folks making carpets in the same way they have been made here for a long time. It is a quiet existence for the most part. We keep our records in a simple notebook and try to stay organized. If you ever find yourself near Khamaria, you can ask for Anirudhpur and someone will point you to us. We are usually there from early morning.
