Master Classes

We are located at 1, Tagore Town Colony, right on the Main Road in Varanasi. Master Classes has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Tagore Town is a nice area, though being on the main road means we get all the traffic noise. The building is a standard one for this part of the city. We have some classrooms upstairs and a small waiting area downstairs. I usually spend my time between the two. The stairs are a bit steep, so you have to be careful. We have whiteboards in every room and some old cupboards for storing our materials. It is not a very modern place, but it works for what we do. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. Students come here after their regular school hours. It gets very busy around four in the afternoon. We have some plants in the corner but they don't always get enough light. The windows look out onto the street. You can see the rickshaws and the cows passing by. It is a typical scene in Varanasi. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing the board on the road. We just try to provide a decent place for people to study and get their work done. It’s mostly just us and the students day in and day out.
