Manisha Tution Class

We are over here in Nariya, just near Ankur Shop. It’s a busy spot in Varanasi. Every day the kids come in for their lessons. We have some basic benches and a white board that sometimes needs a good scrubbing. Most of the students live nearby, so they just walk or come on their cycles. It gets a bit noisy outside when the market is full, but we just close the door and keep going. Manisha Tution Class has been in this building for a while now. The walls have some marks on them from years of use, but it feels like home to us. We don't have anything fancy like air conditioning, just some fans that hum all afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows to let the air in from the street. Nariya is a good area to be in. People around here know us. We spend most of our time looking at notebooks and trying to get through the syllabus before the exams start. It is simple work, really. Just teaching and learning every single day without much fuss. We usually start early in the morning and stay until late evening when the street lights come on near the shop. It's a regular life here. Nothing like the big offices you see in magazines. We just focus on the books and making sure everyone understands what they are reading.
