Lemon Marketing is based in the heart of Varanasi, in Godowlia. Our address is D-36/198, near August Kund. If you’ve ever walked through the streets of Godowlia, you know how packed and lively it is. Our office reflects that same feeling. It’s tucked away in a building where the noise of the city always filters through the windows. We do marketing and local promotions, mostly for businesses around here. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We sit in a small room, surrounded by samples and notes, and we just talk through ideas. Varanasi is a unique place to work because things don't always go as planned, and you have to be ready for anything. We don’t have a big polished image. We’re just local people who know these narrow lanes and the people who live in them. Sometimes the electricity goes out, or the street is too crowded to move, but we still manage to get the work finished. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and talking to vendors or clients who just drop in because they were nearby. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t use complicated strategies, just common sense and local knowledge. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our home and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay helpful.
