Our place is at 242-A, Dev Nagar, which is right in the Ruhatta area of Jaunpur. We go by Jaunpur Biofuels And Organics Producer Company Limited, though that’s a bit of a mouthful to say every day. Most of the time we just tell people we’re the folks working on organic stuff and fuel. It started because there’s so much waste around here that could be used for something better. We work with a lot of local people around Jaunpur to get this going. It’s been a lot of learning as we go. Sometimes things don’t work out the first time, like when a batch of organic material isn't right, but we just try again the next day. The office in Dev Nagar is where we do all the paperwork and meet up to figure out the week's schedule. It’s a local operation, so we don't have fancy suits or anything like that. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or checking on the production side of things. It’s hard work and the weather in Jaunpur can be really hot, which makes the physical parts of the job tough sometimes. But we like being part of the community here and doing something that feels useful for the land. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it in Ruhatta. Anyway, that is pretty much what we do here.
