Bamboofied Global Industries Private Limited

Bamboofied Global is based at Sri Abhinav Omar’s place in Moh Khirni Bagh, which is in the Keshav Nagar Colony area. We work with bamboo, hence the name. It’s a versatile plant and we try to find different ways to use it for various industries. We are a private limited company, but it’s a very hands-on operation. Our workshop is usually full of bamboo poles and shavings. It’s a messy business, but we enjoy the smell of the wood and the work of creating something useful. Shahjahanpur is a decent place to be for this kind of work. We aren't some giant factory with smoke coming out of the chimneys. It’s more of a specialized unit where we focus on making things right. Sometimes we have trouble finding the right kind of bamboo, so we have to source it from different areas. Abhinav handles the main business side of things from the colony office. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just show people what we can make from bamboo and let them decide. It’s a sturdy material and it lasts a long time if you treat it right. We spend our weeks cutting, treating, and figuring out new designs. It’s just a small group of us trying to make a living out of something sustainable. We don't talk about being 'global' in a fancy way, we just like the idea that bamboo can go anywhere. It keeps us busy and we like the craft involved in every piece we handle.
