Gyan Ghazal Singer

I've been doing this for a long time here in Varanasi. My place is at D-35/269 on Kamaccha Road. Ghazals are what I do. It’s not a big office or anything, just where I practice and meet people who want music for their functions. Varanasi is a city of music, and Kamachha is a busy spot. I’ve spent many evenings just sitting and working on my notes. People know me around here as the singer who stays near the main road. I don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just my voice and the harmonium mostly. Sometimes I travel around for performances, but this is where I stay. It's a small space, a bit old, but it works for me. Life in Varanasi is slow but the music keeps it moving. I started singing when I was quite young and never really stopped. Dealing with clients is straightforward. They come, we talk about the songs, and we fix a time. I don't have a big marketing team or a website that looks like a corporate bank. It's just me and my music. The traffic on Kamaccha Road can be loud, but when the music starts, you don't notice it much. I like being part of the local scene here. It feels right. If you are looking for a ghazal singer, I am usually around my home or the nearby area. Sometimes you can hear the bells from the temples while I'm practicing. It’s a good life here for someone who loves music. I don't plan on moving to a big city.
