We are located right at the Sankat Mochan Crossing in Varanasi, specifically on the first floor of the B-36/4-7 building. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic coming through Lanka Road, but inside we just try to keep things organized. Most people find us easily because of the landmark nearby. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, dealing with the daily routine of travel bookings and paperwork. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Our desks are usually covered in folders and different printouts for trips. We don't have fancy furniture or anything, just the usual chairs and computers that get the job done. If you walk past the crossing, you can see our sign. The staff here usually brings lunch from home, so there is often a smell of home-cooked food around noon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the screens. It’s a busy corner of Varanasi, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes customers just drop by to ask questions about train schedules or flights. We do our best to look through the system and tell them what is available. It’s not a big glamorous office, but it works for us and the people who come in.
