Arora Decorators

Arora Decorators is located at 46, Vijay Nagaram Colony. That’s in the Bhelupura area of Varanasi. We are quite close to the Power House, which is the main landmark around here. Our work is mostly about setting up for different kinds of events. We have a lot of fabric, poles, and lights stored in our warehouse space. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and climbing up on ladders. We’ve been doing decoration work for a long time now. People come to us when they have a wedding or a religious function at their home. We go out to the site and put up the tents and the flowers. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat of Varanasi. We don’t have a big corporate office, just our place in the colony where we keep all the supplies. We spend a lot of time on the road, moving stuff from one place to another in our trucks. Every job is a bit different. Sometimes it’s a small house party, other times it’s a big open field. We just try to make the place look nice for the day. We aren't interior designers, we’re just decorators who know how to tie a knot and hang a curtain properly. Our crew has been together for a while now. We know the shortcuts through Bhelupura to avoid the heavy traffic. It’s a steady life, keeping the city colorful for celebrations. We just keep our equipment ready for the next call that comes in. Every day brings a new venue to decorate.
