Abhigyan Classes

Abhigyan Classes is situated on the road between Samneghat and Lanka. We are quite close to the Trauma Centre, so there are always ambulances and cars passing by. It can be a bit noisy outside, but inside we try to keep things calm so the students can work. The place is just a regular building with a few rooms converted into study areas. We have some benches that have been around for years and a few fans to keep the air moving during the hot months. We started this place to give local students a spot where they could get some extra help with their studies. It is not a fancy coaching center with air conditioning and glass walls. It is just a practical space for learning. We spend our afternoons and evenings here with students from different schools. We go over their textbooks and help them with their assignments. Sometimes we stay late when exams are coming up. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well. We talk to the parents when they come to pick up their children in the evening. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just do what needs to be done each day. It is a lot of reading and writing and solving problems on the board. We are just part of the local neighborhood and we like it that way.
