Aayojanam Event Management

Our place is over in the Sanjay Gandhi Nagar area of Varanasi, near the old Cotton Mill. It is a part of the city that is very crowded and full of life, which is exactly where an event management office needs to be. Dealing with events in a place like Varanasi means you have to be ready to handle narrow lanes and a lot of chaos. Our office is just a small, simple room where we keep all our records and meet with people to talk about their plans. It is definitely not a corporate setup. Usually, there are three or four of us sitting around a cluttered table trying to figure out how to get a truckload of chairs through the city streets without getting stuck for hours. We have been in this Cotton Mill area for a while now, so we know the local vendors and the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes the noise from the street and the dust from the nearby construction can be a bit much, but that is just part of living and working in Varanasi. We don't use any slick marketing language to talk about what we do. We just help people get their celebrations organized and make sure the food is ready and the guests have a place to sit. It involves a lot of running around and checking on small details that others might miss during the rush of planning a big day.
