5 Spices

If you go up to the 5th floor of Vinayak Plaza in Maldahiya, that’s where you’ll find us. We’ve been in this part of Varanasi for quite some time now. 5 Spices is the name on the door. Being on the top floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy streets down in Maldahiya, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. The plaza is a well-known spot, so it’s easy for people to find us once they get to the 221001 area. We aren't a massive operation. It’s just a handful of us working in a space that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We keep the place clean, but it looks like a real office where work actually happens, not a showroom. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it. Varanasi is a busy city, and Maldahiya is right in the middle of it all. There’s always noise coming up from the road, but inside our doors, it’s mostly just the sound of people talking or the printer running. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR team. We just do what we do and let the work speak for itself. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood or local businesses we’ve known for years. It’s a solid place to be.
