Shree Shiv-Shakti Oil Mill

Our oil mill is located in Village Chala on the Swaminarayan Gurukul Road. Specifically, we are at Patel Faliya on Plot No. 11 and 12. Being in a village area means it is a bit quieter than the main city, but the road out front still gets busy with people heading toward the Gurukul. Shree Shiv-Shakti Oil Mill is a place where we spend most of our daylight hours. The building is open and airy which is good because the machines generate a lot of heat. You can hear the crushing sounds from the street. The ground around the plots is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets a bit muddy when the rains come. We have a small office section where we keep the ledgers and the phone. It is mostly just us and the workers who have been with us for years. We don't have fancy uniforms or big corporate meetings. We just show up and get to work on the seeds. The plot numbers are clearly marked on the gate, but most people just look for the sound of the mill. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farms wander onto the road and slow things down. It is a very practical environment without any extra frills. We like the pace of life here in Chala. It feels like a real community where everyone knows what you do for a living and the neighbors stop by to chat.
