S. K. Engineering Co.

The GIDC area in Vapi is a massive place, and we are tucked away in Shed No. L-1206/9. It’s right near Hap Chemical on Gama Colours Road. This is the third phase of the industrial estate. If you’ve ever been to an industrial zone, you know it’s mostly dust, noise, and lots of trucks moving around. S. K. Engineering Co. is right in the middle of all that. We deal with engineering work, which basically means a lot of metal, tools, and getting our hands dirty. The shed is large enough for what we do, but it can get quite hot during the summer months. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and you see the machines and the guys working. It’s honest work. We spend our mornings checking the materials that arrived and making sure the machines are running okay. There’s always a bit of grease around, and the smell of metal is something you just get used to. We have our lunch together in a small corner we cleared out. Sometimes we talk about the work, sometimes we don't. It is a simple setup we have here. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the engineering tasks that come our way and try to get them finished on time. The road outside is always busy with people going to other factories nearby.
