Podar International School

This Podar International School is located in Vapi Ho, over in the Valsad district. It’s an industrial sort of area, so the surroundings are pretty functional. The school itself follows that same practical vibe. We have a decent-sized building where the kids spend their days. Most of us who work here have been in the education field for a while, so we’ve seen it all. We don’t go for anything fancy or over-the-top. The rooms are plain, the hallways are wide, and we try to keep the place as clean as we can despite the dust from the nearby roads. Our daily life is pretty predictable. We open the gates early, the buses arrive, and then it’s a non-stop day of classes until the afternoon. We don’t have a marketing team writing glossy brochures for us. We just talk to the parents when they come by and tell them how their kids are doing. Sometimes we have to deal with the heat, which can be a bit much in this part of Gujarat, but we make do with fans and open windows. It’s just a place where students come to get their work done. We focus on the basics and try to keep things running smoothly without making a big deal out of it. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here in Vapi for the local families.
