Enine Gadgets

Enine Gadgets is located at Office No.B-66/5 in the Gunjan area, right near Char Rasta. If you know the intersection, you know how loud it gets with all the traffic. Our office is in a building that’s been around for a while. We mostly deal with small electronics and gadgets. People bring in phones with cracked screens or tablets that won't charge. We have a lot of tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses on the benches. It’s meticulous work. You have to have steady hands for this. Char Rasta is a good spot because everyone passes through there eventually. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put things. Sometimes we have to wait a week for parts to arrive from the bigger cities. That’s the hardest part of the job, telling someone they have to wait. We try to keep a few common spares in the drawer. The light in the office is very bright so we can see the small parts we're working on. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workshop. We started this because we liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now we just do it for a living. It keeps us busy and the rent paid. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We've got a small kettle for making coffee when we have a long night of repairs ahead of us. We just keep our heads down and fix what comes in.
