Shri Swaminarayan Higher Secondary School

Our school is located on Nasik Road in Dharampur, which is in the Valsad district. Being a higher secondary school means we have the older students here who are preparing for their final years of schooling. It can get pretty serious around exam time, but the rest of the year is just the usual routine. The building is situated in a way that makes it easy for students from the surrounding area to reach us. We have several classrooms and a small staff area where we keep all the records. The desks are a bit worn out from years of use, but they serve their purpose just fine. We don't go for anything fancy or high-tech. Most of our day is spent reading, writing, and talking through the subjects. During the lunch break, the students sit outside in the open area. You can hear them laughing and talking from quite a distance. We have a few staff members who have been here for a very long time, so they know almost every family in the neighborhood.
