Prabhat Elastomer Pvt Ltd is spread out across several different sheds in the GIDC area of Sarigam. Our main spot is Shed No. A-1-308, but we also use sheds 407, 409, 411, 413, and 415 for our daily operations. Having several different sheds means we are constantly walking back and forth between them to check on different parts of the production process. Sarigam is a heavy industrial zone, so it is all about the hard work here. We deal with elastomers, which means a lot of mixing and molding throughout the day. It is messy work sometimes, and the sheds get really warm when all the heaters are running. We do not have a separate corporate office with air conditioning; we are mostly out on the floor with the machines and the materials. The GIDC roads are okay, but they can get very muddy during the monsoon season, making it a challenge for the delivery trucks to get close to the sheds. We have been here long enough that we know most of the security guards and the other business owners on this block. There is no big hierarchy here at Prabhat Elastomer. We all just pitch in where we are needed most. Whether it is loading a heavy pallet or checking a batch for defects, everyone knows what they have to do. It takes a lot of coordination to keep all the sheds running smoothly.
