Layka Travel World

We’re located on the second floor of Fortune Mall, right near the Vishal Mega Mart on Via Road in Gidc, Vapi. Layka Travel World is a small office, nothing too big. Some posters of places are stuck on the walls, though they’re getting a bit curled at the edges now. There’s always someone coming in asking about bus tickets or train schedules. Vapi is a busy industrial area, so there’s a lot of movement. The mall has its own rhythm. We hear the music from the shops downstairs all day long. It’s mostly just two of us here at the desks. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out. We don't have any fancy brochures left, people usually just want to know the prices and the times. We've been at this spot for a while now. The second floor is a bit quieter than the ground floor, which is nice. We get our lunch from the stalls nearby. It’s a basic office with a couple of chairs for people to sit while we look things up. We don't do any big promotions. Most people just walk in because they were already at the mall. We try to help them out as best as we can. It’s a steady job. We like meeting different people every day. It keeps things interesting for us here in the mall.
