Janki Plastic

Out here at Plot No. 754 Gidc in Gundlav, the air usually has that faint scent of warm plastic that never really goes away. It’s a busy spot, and the floor stays warm because the machines are running most of the time. We’ve got stacks of raw materials piled up near the entrance, and sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the hallway if a big delivery just arrived. The windows are high up and a bit dusty, so the light that comes in is soft even on the brightest days. We spend a lot of time watching the gauges and making sure everything is flowing like it should. If something jams, we just grab the tools and get it sorted out right there. There’s no big fancy office here, just a small corner with a table and a couple of plastic chairs where we sit for lunch. Most of the guys bring their own tiffin, and the smell of home-cooked curry mixes with the industrial vibe of the place. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know which machines need a little extra attention on Mondays. The road outside can get pretty hectic with tractors and delivery vans, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s all about the rhythm of the production line. We just keep our heads down and stay busy until the sun starts to set over the estate.
