Arihant Pharmachem

If you head down to GIDC Vapi and look along the Old NH-8, you’ll find us at Plot No. Ex/3/B. We’re Arihant Pharmachem, and we spend most of our time dealing with various pharma materials. It’s a serious environment because of what we handle, but the atmosphere among the staff is pretty relaxed. We’ve got a small office and then the main processing area. It isn't the biggest place on the block, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s always someone checking a logbook or moving containers around. Being right by the highway is convenient for shipping, even if the road noise is constant. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. We aren't big on corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk over tea in the morning about what needs to get done before the sun goes down. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the routine inside and out. It’s a steady pace, nothing too frantic unless a delivery is running late. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the paperwork that comes with this trade. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking, which is just part of the job. It is a simple operation, run by people who know their way around a lab and a warehouse. We just get on with it.
