Dadhora Primary School

Down on Goyandibigri Road in Dadhora, you’ll find our little primary school. Dadhora Primary School is a small place, nothing too big. We mainly have the younger kids who come from the nearby villages here in Valsad. The road out front can get quite muddy when the monsoon rains hit, which makes it hard for the kids to get in. We have a few simple classrooms and a small shaded area where the children sit to eat their lunch. Most of the teachers live in the area and we know the families of the kids quite well. It's a quiet life out here on the edge of the village. We don't have a big office or a reception area, just a simple desk in the corner of one room. The children run around a lot during their breaks and play games. Sometimes we lose a ball over the back fence into the fields. We try to keep the kids focused on their reading and writing. We have a small flag pole in the front for the morning prayers. We don't have computers or a big library, just the basic things the kids need to learn. It’s a good enough place for them to start and we like the pace of life here.
