Vohra Salma Mahmad

My name is Vohra Salma Mahmad. I work out of Vadodara. The location is near the Joseph Chemmanur Hall. It’s specifically on the 1St Cross in the 1St Stage area. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around this part of town. Once you find the main hall, it gets much easier to navigate. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main roads. I like that because I can focus on my work without too many distractions. The 1St Cross has its own little character and charm. I’ve been here for a while. The office isn't very big at all. It’s just enough space for me to do what I need to do each day. I have a few things on my desk and a chair for visitors to sit in. It’s a very basic setup. I don't see the point in making it look like a big corporate office. That’s just not who I am. I prefer the honest and simple way of doing things. The building is a bit older but it is sturdy and reliable. I’ve spent many hours here over the years. You get to know the neighbors and the people who walk their dogs in the morning. It feels like a real community. Sometimes I go for a short walk near the hall just to get some fresh air and clear my head. It’s a nice area for that. I’m happy with where I am. It’s just a normal workplace.
