My name is Jignesh Kumar Makwana and I run things here at B/562 in Subhanpura. We’re tucked away behind the Samta Flats in the Nizam Pur area. It isn’t the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, but most of the locals know the spot. I’ve been working out of this space for a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do every day. Most mornings I get here early to open up before the heat starts to pick up. Subhanpura is usually pretty busy, though our corner behind the flats stays a bit quieter than the main road. I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk dealing with paperwork and talking to people who drop by. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out most of the time. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a regular office space with some chairs and a lot of files. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a bit. People ask why I stayed in this spot so long and it's mostly because it’s familiar. I know where everything is, from the light switches that stick to the best place nearby to grab a quick tea in the afternoon. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We just try to get the work done and go home at a decent hour.
