The Gateway Hotel

Our hotel is situated right by the Akota Gardens in Vadodara. It’s a pretty good spot because there are some trees around and the park is right there if you want to take a walk. For a long time, we have been operating here, and the building shows its age in some places, but we try to keep it decent. Rooms are available for all kinds of travelers, from people on business to families on vacation. The lobby is a bit small, and it can get a bit loud when a group arrives all at once. Most of the staff are local people who do everything from cleaning the rooms to working in the kitchen. The food we serve is just regular home-style cooking that most people seem to like. Sometimes the elevators act up or the hot water takes a minute to start, but we do our best to get it sorted. High-tech stuff isn't really our thing like you see in newer hotels, but we offer a place to stay that is fair. The view of the gardens is nice in the mornings before the city gets too noisy. We are just a bunch of people working to keep a hotel running in a busy part of town. It’s a lot of work every day, and we are quite used to the rhythm of guests coming and going.
