You will find us over at C-1 in the Sardar Estate on Ajwa Road in Baroda. If you walk into our place, the first thing you will notice is the smell of ink and the sound of the printing presses. It is a bit loud and messy, but that is what a real print shop looks like. We have stacks of paper everywhere and containers of different colored inks on the benches. We have been in Baroda for a long time, and Sardar Estate is a good place for a business like ours. We spend our days checking proofs and making sure the machines are running right. Sometimes a machine jams or the colors don't come out quite right on the first try, so we have to fix it and start again. It is a lot of standing on your feet and moving heavy reams of paper. We don't have a clean, polished office. Our desks are usually covered in samples and half-empty cups of tea. We just like getting the printing done. It is satisfying to see a stack of fresh cards or flyers come off the machine ready for someone to use. We know a lot of the other business owners in the estate, and it feels like a little community here. It is just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
