I work out of Anand House on Jagdish Nagar Road, which is right in the Fateganj area. The address is 804, and it’s one of those buildings that has been here for a long time. Fateganj is always full of energy, with students from the university and people going about their business. My setup here is pretty basic; I have a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of notebooks where I keep track of everything. It’s not a corporate office with a receptionist or a coffee machine. If someone comes by, I usually just make them a cup of tea myself. The road outside can get pretty loud with all the rickshaws and motorbikes, but once you close the door, it’s not too bad. I handle most of the work myself, from answering the phone to keeping the books in order. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, especially when multiple things happen at once, but I’ve gotten used to the pace. Anand House has a bit of character, with its old style and the way the light comes in during the afternoon. I don't spend much on decorating the place because I'd rather focus on the actual work. People know they can find me here during the day. It’s just a simple space in a busy part of town where I try to stay on top of the daily chores and keep things moving forward.
