Sanmathi Agri Clinic & Drip Irrigation

Our place, Sanmathi Agri Clinic & Drip Irrigation, is tucked into the Marble Arch building on Tilak Road. Being over here in Parsi Colony 15, we get a mix of people coming in. Some are serious farmers looking for specific irrigation parts, while others just have a small garden at home and need some advice on why their plants aren't growing right. The shop is usually full of black plastic piping and boxes of valves that take up a lot of space. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but we usually know exactly where everything is buried. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or helping someone figure out a layout for their field. The phone rings a lot in the afternoon when people are done with their morning chores. It can get pretty cramped when we have a big shipment come in and there are crates sitting in the middle of the floor. We try to keep things moving. Tilak Road is always busy, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare for our visitors. We’ve got a couple of desks in the back where we handle the paperwork and try to keep track of orders. It’s mostly just us here, working through the list of things to do. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to see the irrigation setups in person, so the shop might be closed for an hour or two unexpectedly. We just do the best we can to help whoever walks in.
