Vakil Devendra Jayantilal

I am located over in the Sambhaji Nagar area of Vadodara, specifically in Kharadi. It’s a bit different from the city center, maybe a little more settled in some ways but still having its own busy rhythm. My name is Devendra Jayantilal and I’ve set up my place here to stay close to the local community. The office is just a simple room with enough space for my books and a couple of chairs for whoever drops by. Kharadi has changed quite a bit since I first started, with more buildings going up and more cars on the road, but the spirit of the place is still the same. I spend most of my day dealing with whatever comes across my desk. It isn't a high-pressure environment with people in suits running around. I prefer it that way. I wear comfortable clothes and I like to take a break in the middle of the day for a proper meal. You can hear the neighborhood sounds, kids playing or people shouting to their neighbors, which I find better than a silent office. I don't use a lot of technology if I can help it; I still like writing things down by hand when I can. It’s a small operation here, but it keeps me busy and I feel like I’m part of the local scenery now.
