We’ve been here at Padra Road 19 for a while now. Most days it’s just us working through the various hydro system setups that come across the desk. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a practical space. People around here know where to find us if they have questions about water pressure or parts. Usually, we start early because the heat gets bad in the afternoon. Sometimes we get busy and the phone rings a lot, other times it’s quiet enough to actually organize the shelves. We’re just a small team trying to keep things moving. The traffic on Padra Road can be a mess around five, so we try to get our deliveries out before then. It’s not always easy but we manage. If you walk past number 19, you’ll likely see some of us out front. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking, just the regular work that keeps the systems running right. Some days are harder than others, especially when a machine acts up, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We keep a stash of tea for when the neighbors stop by. It’s a local spot and we like it that way. No corporate speeches here. We just know our stuff and stay busy with the tools we have. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s part of the job. We've seen a lot of changes on this street over the years.
