Udhaya Power

If you head down to the Gidc in Waghodia, you'll find us at Plot No. 49. It's a dusty stretch of road, like most industrial areas, but it's where we get everything done. We’ve been operating Udhaya Power from this plot for some time now. The building is functional, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly about the equipment and the parts we handle every day. The shed gets pretty hot during the summer months, so we usually have the big fans running all day long. There’s always a truck or two parked out front either loading or unloading something. Our office is just a small room near the main entrance where we keep track of the orders. It’s a bit messy with papers and tools sometimes, but we know where everything is. The guys on the floor know their way around the machinery. We don't really go in for fancy decorations or anything. It's an honest day's work here. Waghodia is a bit far from the main city, so it’s quieter in the evenings once the other units close up. We stay late sometimes to finish up a batch of work. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. No big speeches, just making sure the output is right before it leaves the gate of Plot 49. It is a long day but we enjoy the routine.
