The Tea Kettle

If you find yourself in Tarsali, specifically near Ashok Vatika Society, you’ve probably seen us. We are located at Plot A-36. The Novino-Tarsali Road gets quite a bit of traffic, which keeps things interesting. We opened The Tea Kettle because we wanted a place that felt like home. It’s not one of those modern, minimalist cafes where you feel like you can't touch anything. We have mismatched chairs and a few old tables. The kettle is almost always on. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks from the neighborhood. Some people come in every single morning at the same time. We know their orders before they even speak. It’s nice having that kind of connection. Tarsali is a growing area, but it still feels like a village in some ways. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make. The kitchen is small, so it can get a bit cramped when we’re busy. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes we run out of something and have to apologize, but people are usually understanding. It’s a local spot, through and through. We put up a few decorations we liked, and that’s about as far as our interior design goes. We just wanted a space for tea and conversation on this busy road. It's just a place to sit and have a cup.
