The Gateway Hotels (Formerly Known As Taj Resdiency)

Most people around Vadodara still call this place by its old name, but we’re officially The Gateway Hotels now. We’re tucked into Flat No. 205 over at the Sadar Complex in Sadar Bazar. It’s a busy area with lots of noise and people moving about all the time. Running a hotel business from here keeps us on our toes. We don't have a giant lobby with gold statues or anything like that. It's more of a practical setup. We handle the bookings and make sure everything is running the way it should be for the guests. Some of us have been working here since it was the Taj Residency, so we've seen plenty of changes over the years. The building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy and reliable. We try to keep things organized even when the phone won't stop ringing and everyone needs something at once. It’s not a glamorous life, just a lot of checking lists and talking to vendors. We get guests from all over, some staying for work and others just passing through Gujarat. Sadar Bazar is a handy spot because everything you might need is close by. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or long meetings. We just focus on making sure the rooms are ready and the staff is where they need to be. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but it’s what we do. We're just a bunch of people trying to keep things moving along smoothly.
