Taj Residency Vadodara

If you head over to Akota Gardens, you’ll find us there. It’s a pretty nice spot in Vadodara, honestly. Devendra Sharma is often around, keeping an eye on how things are moving along. The lobby usually has a few people waiting, maybe someone checking in after a long train ride or a flight. It’s not one of those stiff, scary hotels where you’re afraid to touch anything. We try to keep it relaxed. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know each other’s names and how we take our tea. Outside, the gardens are nice for a walk, though it gets quite hot in the middle of the day. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the kitchen is stocked up. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big group arrives all at once, but we just roll with it. There’s always some laundry to be folded or a lightbulb that needs changing. It’s a lot of physical work that people don’t always see. We like being in this part of town because it feels established. You get the regulars who come by just for a meal, and then the travelers who are just passing through Gujarat. It’s a decent rhythm to life here. We don’t do big fancy announcements; we just open the doors every morning and get to work. It’s just how we do things at this residency.
