Sydney Collection

Sydney Collection is tucked away behind Jamnabai Hospital. We are on the ground floor of Basera Apartment in the Mandvi area, specifically near Mangaldas Market. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the narrow streets. Our shop is at number 7. We have been selling clothes and various things for a long time now. It’s a small space, so we have to stack the stock pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard for a customer to find exactly what they are looking for, but we know where everything is. It’s not a fancy boutique with bright lights and big mirrors everywhere. It’s just a local shop where we know many of our customers by their first names. People come in to browse the new arrivals or just to say hello while they are out. The market is always crowded and noisy, which we actually like. It keeps things interesting throughout the day. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the doors every morning and wait for people to stop by. We try to keep our prices fair so everyone can afford to buy something nice. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking over it. We’ve thought about fixing it, but it shows how much use the shop gets. It is a simple life running a shop in Mandvi.
