Surya Glass

We are located over on 26Th Cross in Vadodara. If you're looking for glass, this is where we do all the cutting and fitting. The shop is basically just a big room filled with glass sheets of all sizes. You have to be careful where you walk. We spend the whole day measuring and using those little cutters that make that sharp scratching sound. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have big automated machines. It’s mostly just us and our hand tools. Sometimes the edges are sharp, so we spend a lot of time smoothing things down. We do windows, mirrors, and some table tops too. It’s a bit of a dusty job with all the glass particles, but we’re used to it. The shop opens early and we usually stay late if there’s a big order to get out. It’s a simple business. Someone comes in with a size, we find the right piece of glass, and we cut it for them. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people find us through word of mouth from their neighbors. We don't do much else besides glass. It’s what we know. The back of the shop is where we keep the scraps. It’s a bit cluttered, but we eventually use most of it for smaller jobs that come through the door.
