Shruti Plastics

Our place, Shruti Plastics, is at T/25 Ajwa Road in the Darukhana area. It is a busy spot with lots of scrap yards and metal shops nearby. We have a couple of injection molding machines that stay running most of the day. The heat inside the workshop can get pretty intense, especially during the peak of summer. We usually keep the big front shutters open to let some air in. My brother and I started this because we had some experience with plastic molding back in the day. We make basic items like small containers and various plastic components that other businesses need. It is not a clean job and the floor is often covered in little plastic pellets. We don't have a receptionist or a front desk. If someone comes by, they usually just shout for one of us over the noise of the machines. Traffic on Ajwa Road is a real headache in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out, which is frustrating, but we just use that time to maintain the equipment or have some cold water. We are just a small local outfit trying to do our work properly. We don't spend money on marketing because word travels fast in Darukhana. People know where to find us if they need something made in plastic. It is just a practical, everyday business for us.
