Shree Umiya Dye Chemical Industries

Shree Umiya Dye Chemical Industries is located out in the Nandesari Industril Estate, right on Main Road 145. This whole area is basically just factories and warehouses, so it’s a very industrial setting. We work with dyes and various chemicals that other businesses use for their products. Our place is more of a production unit than an office, so there’s always the sound of machinery or the smell of processing going on. It’s not the kind of place where customers just walk in off the street; we mostly deal with other companies and transport trucks. The plot at 145 is quite large, which we need for all the drums and mixing equipment. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially with the machines running. We’ve been operating in Nandesari for a good while now, so we know how the estate works and where all the suppliers are. The work is very routine—mixing, checking, and packing. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices here, just a small desk in the corner for paperwork. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the batches are coming out right. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. The main road is always busy with tankers and trucks moving in and out, which is good for getting our stuff shipped out.
