Our place, Shiv Dyestuff And Intermediate Industries, is situated at Plot No. C1/B/41/B/8 in the Gidc. We are located right behind Ashok Organic, which is usually the landmark we give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. The space we have is used for producing dyestuffs and various intermediates. It’s a technical kind of job, but we don't talk about it in fancy terms. We just get on with the mixing and the processing that needs to be done. The facility has been there for years, and you can see the age in the walls and the floor, but everything still works just fine for our needs. We have a small team of workers who handle the heavy lifting and the daily operations. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from one section to another. The weather inside the Gidc can get very hot, especially with the machinery running, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just suppliers and the occasional customer coming to check on their order. The paperwork is handled on a wooden desk near the entrance. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the place looks a bit cluttered when a fresh shipment arrives. We just do a steady job every day without any big drama. It’s a quiet life, focused on the work at hand and the people we see every day.
