Shree Charbhuja Vasan Bhandar is located at Subhanpura C 2. If you know the area you know it can get quite crowded on the sidewalks. We sell utensils and household items for the kitchen. It’s the kind of shop where things are stacked up very high to save space. You have to be careful when moving around the aisles. There is stainless steel, brass, and all sorts of things that people use for cooking. People come in when they are setting up a new house or when something breaks. It’s a very traditional kind of business. We’ve been at C 2 in Subhanpura for many years now. My family is usually here helping out with the customers. It’s not just a job for us. We spend a lot of time polishing the steel things so they look good on the shelves. Sometimes customers spend an hour just looking at different sizes of pots and pans. We don’t mind the wait. It’s a big decision for a kitchen. The noise of clinking metal is something we hear all day long. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. During festival seasons it gets really crazy and we barely have room to stand. We try to keep things organized but it’s hard with so much stock coming in. Subhanpura is a good place to be. We know most of the people who walk by the shop every day. It feels like home.
