Marpex Appliances

We are located over at Plot No. 7705/6 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. If you know this area, you know it’s always loud with machines and trucks moving around. We’ve been here in this unit for quite a few years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the appliances to worry about that. It’s mostly just us working in the back and a small desk in the front for when people come to ask about repairs or new units. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling hot outside. We deal with all sorts of household stuff that people bring in. Sometimes it’s a fridge that stopped humming or a stove that won't light. We keep a lot of spare parts in the bins along the back wall. It’s a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the whole building. Dealing with the heat in GIDC is just part of the job. We close the shutters when the sun goes down and head home. It's a living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just some guys in a workshop trying to make things work again and keep customers from having to buy brand new stuff they don't need.
