Shree Chamunda Gas Cutting & Brazing Works

At Shree Chamunda Gas Cutting & Brazing Works, we spend our days at C/9/145 on Makarpura Wakd Road. It is a gritty kind of place, filled with the smell of gas and the sparks from the cutting torches. We don’t have a storefront that looks like a boutique. It’s more of a workshop where the floors are stained and the air is heavy with the smell of scorched metal. We do gas cutting and brazing, which means it gets very hot in here, especially during the summer months. We usually have a few fans going, but they mostly just move the hot air around. Makarpura Wakd Road is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic passing by our front door. We don't have a dedicated sales team or a fancy way of talking to customers. Usually, someone just walks in with a piece of metal that needs joining or cutting, and we take a look at it right then and there. It’s honest work that leaves your hands dirty at the end of the shift. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we don’t see any reason to change how we operate. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we are good at. We just keep the torches lit and make sure the cuts are as clean as we can get them. If the work is right, the rest doesn't matter much.
