Shirke Rupal Shashikant at 23 Ajwa Road. I spend most of my day here right across from the Sayajipark bus stop. It gets pretty loud with the buses coming and going every few minutes, but you get used to it after a while. I’ve been in this spot at Millerganj for quite some time now. Some days it is just me, and other days things are moving fast. The market here is always busy in the mornings. I usually open up early and start by cleaning the front area. People often stop by just because they are waiting for their bus and need something. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to get things done right. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that is just part of being on Ajwa Road. I know most of the people who work in the nearby stalls. We look out for each other. If someone needs a hand or a quick break, there is always a neighbor around. It’s a simple life. I don't really have a big staff or anything, just a few of us making sure the work is handled. We don’t do much advertising. People find us because we are right here by the stop. Most of our regulars have been coming for years, and they know what to expect when they walk in. I think I’ll stay here as long as the market keeps going.
