Sheetal Printers

Sheetal Printers operates out of the Gandhi Oil Mill Compound in Gorwa, specifically at 29-D. It is an old industrial compound, so the building has a lot of character, though it’s a bit rough around the edges. Our printing machines are quite old but they still work perfectly well for the kind of jobs we do. We mostly handle bulk orders like bill books, office stationery, and some flyers for local shops. The noise inside the workshop is pretty loud when the presses are in motion, and it can be hard to hear the phone ringing. There is always the smell of ink in the air, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We have stacks of paper everywhere, and we try to keep them covered so they don't get dusty. It is just a handful of us working here, making sure the ink levels are right and the paper feeds through without jamming. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone wants to place an order, they just walk in and we talk over the sound of the machines. The Gorwa area is always bustling with industrial activity, so we fit right in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but otherwise, we keep the rollers turning. It’s just a straightforward, honest print shop.
