Shantam Airflow Industries

Our business, Shantam Airflow Industries, is situated at 837/4 in the GIDC Industrial Estate over in Makarpura. It’s a massive estate, and if you don’t know the plot numbers, it’s easy to get turned around. We’ve been here for a good while, making fans and various systems for moving air around industrial buildings. Because of what we make, the workshop always has some kind of breeze blowing through it when we’re testing the units. It’s a loud process, especially when the big industrial fans are running at full speed. The floor is usually cluttered with fan blades, motors, and metal casings. We have a few long-serving employees who can assemble these things with their eyes closed. We don't have a polished showroom or any fancy brochures to hand out. Most of the time, we’re just in our work clothes, covered in a bit of metal dust. The GIDC area has a lot of small food joints, so we usually head out for a quick bite during the afternoon. The office part of our unit is just a desk with a computer and a lot of files. We aren't big on paperwork, but we keep track of what’s going out the door. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just make sure the airflow units are put together correctly and that they work like they're supposed to. That’s pretty much the daily routine here in Makarpura for the staff.
