About Shambhus Coffee Bar – Food & Beverages in Vadodara
The shop at Akota Radha Krishna opens pretty early most days. I get in and the first thing is the smell of the coffee beans. It’s quiet then, and the street at Sankar Tekri 1 is still waking up. By the time people start heading to their jobs, we've got everything ready. Shambhus Coffee Bar isn't a big fancy place, just some tables and chairs where you can sit for a bit. Sometimes the machine acts up a bit or makes a weird noise, but we get it going eventually. People come in from all around the Akota area. Some folks stay for an hour with their phones or a book, while others just grab a cup and run. It gets a bit loud when the afternoon crowd hits. We just keep making the drinks as the orders come in. It’s a lot of washing cups and wiping down the wooden counter. The weather outside can be really hot in the summer, so the shade we have here is quite nice. You see the same faces every Tuesday and Thursday usually. It’s just how it goes here. Nothing too complicated about it. We just run the coffee bar and try to keep things moving along. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of milk or a specific bean, and people have to pick something else. Most don't mind too much. It’s just a neighborhood spot really. If you’re walking past Sankar Tekri, you’ll see the sign.
